MANIKGANJ, Aug 8, 2025 (BSS) - A labourer died from electrocution when he was cleaning grass and dust on the roof of the Manikganj Government Devendra 
College on Thursday. 

The victim was identified as Md. Abdul Khalek Dewan, 50, son of Ashkor Dewan 
of Panch Baroil village under Nabagram Union in Manikganj Sadar upazila here.

He was sent to Manikganj 250-bed Sadar Hospital after being rescued where the duty doctor declared him dead.

The body was kept at the hospital morgue.
