GOPALGANJ, Aug 13, 2025 (BSS) - A minor boy drowned in a pond at Kusumdia village under kashiani upazila of the district this afternoon.

The deceased was Rahad Mollah, 4, son of Aslam Mollah of the village.

Rahad drowned in the pond near the house without knowledge of anyone of the family members, said Kamal Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Kashiani Police Station.

Later, he was rescued from the pond and taken to the upazila health complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
