DHAKA, Aug 13, 2025 (BSS) - The 80th birth anniversary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, popularly known as 'Mother of Democracy', will be celebrated across the country on Friday.

Doa and milad mahfils will be held at all mosques and BNP offices all over the country to mark her birth anniversary on August 15, a BNP press release said. 

The party will arrange a doa and milad mahfil on the ground floor of the BNP Central Office in Nayapaltan, Dhaka, at 11 am on the day as its senior leaders will be present.

Leaders, activists and supporters of all levels of BNP and its affiliated and associate organisations across the country, including Dhaka, are requested to participate in doa and milad mahfils.
