RANGPUR, Aug 15, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested an alleged drug dealer with 10 kilograms of ganja from Osmanpur village under Pirganj Police Station in Rangpur district on Thursday evening.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from RAB-13 Sadar Company conducted a drive in the area, searched a microbus and seized the contraband at approximately 6:15 pm, according to a press release issued today.

The arrested individual has been identified as Md Rifat Mia, 19, a resident of Mouja Shakhati village under Kaliganj Police Station in Lalmonirhat district.

Following primary interrogation, Rifat was handed over to Kaliganj police station.
