RANGPUR, Aug 25, 2025 (BSS) - The police have arrested vice-president of Gangachara Upazila Awami League (AL) Md Aminur Rahman in Rangpur after conducting a special drive. 

The arrested has been identified as Aminur Rahman, son of late Abdur Rahman of the Kuthipara area of Gangachara upazila in the district. 

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police arrested him from the Zero Point area of Gangachara Bazar in the upazila town around 10 pm on Sunday, according to a press release issued today. 
 
Later, he was sent to jail through the court.
