KHULNA, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) - Khulna District Unit BNP has formed a committee to celebrate the 47th founding anniversary of the party on September 1.
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting held at the party office on K D Ghosh Road in the city on Wednesday afternoon, with district unit convener Md Moniruzzaman Montu in the chair.
A sub-committee was formed with unit BNP joint convener Tayebur Rahman and District Jubodal convener Ebadul Haque Rubayet were made convener and member secretary respectively.
The meeting also decided to observe a weeklong programme from September 1 to 6 marking the anniversary.
The programme includes a grand rally at Shibbari premises at 3pm on September 1, followed by discussion meetings and tree sapling distribution in each upazila from September 2 to 6.
Among others, Unit joint conveners S M Shamim Kabir, Gazi Tafsir Ahmed, G M Kamruzzaman Tuku, and Enamul Haque Sajal attended the meeting.
