DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - Despite taking an early lead, Bangladesh were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against higher-ranked Jordan in their AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup qualifying match held at the Aqaba Stadium in Jordan on Monday night.

Bangladesh made an ideal start as Sauravi Akanda Prity put her team ahead in just the 3rd minute of the match.

The girls in red and green held on to their slim lead until the 89th minute, when Mira Jarar struck for Jordan to restore parity and deny Bangladesh a full three points.
