MAGURA, Sept 8, 2025 (BSS) - A former UP member was killed in a road accident at Amuria Mandalpara area under Kuchiamora union in Sadar upazila last night.
The deceased was Md. Sayem Uddin, 56, son of the late Mohammad Ali, a resident of Baharbagh village of the upazila.
The accident occurred when bike rider Sayem Uddin hit a dog and fell on the road. Seriously injured Sayem was taken to Magura Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor referred him to Dhaka for better treatment.
He later died on the way to Dhaka. Confirming the information, Magura Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ayub Ali said that the body has been handed over to the family members.
