Imam killed in Magura road accident

MAGURA, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) – An imam was killed in a road accident in the Kachundi Bazar area on the Magura-Faridpur Highway this morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Kazi Mukhtar Uddin, 71.

When Mukhtar Uddin was going to the mosque to offer Fajr prayers, an unidentified vehicle coming from the opposite direction hit him, leaving him critically injured.

He was taken to Magura 250-bed District Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

After an autopsy, the body was handed over to the family.
