JHENAIDAH, Oct 9, 2025 (BSS) - Vegetables seeds and chemical fertilizers were distributed today among 350 small and marginal farmers of Kaliganj upazila of the district under agriculture incentive programme.

Kaliganj Upazila Agriculture Officer Mahbub Alam Rony distributed the incentives among the farmers at a function held at the Upazila Agriculture Office premises this morning.

Various vegetable seeds and 10 kg DAP and 5 kg MOP fertilizers were given to each of the 350 farmers of the upazila free of cost. 

BRDB Officer Khairul Haque, Additional Agricultural Extension Officer Aktaruzzaman Mia, Additional Agricultural Officer Imdad Hasan were also present at the programme organized by the Upazila Agriculture Office.
