Women entrepreneurs receive certificates in Manikganj

MANIKGANJ, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) - A certificate distribution ceremony for women entrepreneurs was held today at the National Polytechnic Institute (NPI) in Manikganj.

Certificates were distributed among 100 entrepreneurs who completed training in various trades, marking the first batch of its kind.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Manwar Hossein Malla attended the function as the chief guest.

Deputy Director of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) Abdul Kader presided over the programme, while National Polytechnic Institute (NPI) Principal Engineer Dr Faruque Hossain, Manikganj Press Club President Zahangir Alam Biswas, and Vice President Abul Bashar Abbasy, among others, were present.

The Deputy Commissioner said there is no alternative to training and practical experience for becoming a successful entrepreneur. "Entrepreneurs have a great role in building a prosperous nation through their work," he added.
