Paralegal training for female organisers held in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS) - A day-long paralegal training for female organisers was held at the district unit office of Bangladesh Mohila Parishad here on Tuesday.

Organised by the district unit of Mohila Parishad, the training aimed to enhance participants' capacity in preventing violence against women and building a violence-free society.

District unit president Mahfuza Khanam Mita and general secretary Riktu Prosad addressed the session.

Lawyer Murad Zaman Rabbani conducted the training, elaborating on the Dowry Prevention Act and the Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Act, 2010.

Over 30 female organisers from across the district took part in the training.
