Child killed in Ctg road accident

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 24, 2025 (BSS) - An eight-year-old boy named Fahim was killed 
after being hit by a covered van in the Puichhari area of Banshkhali upazila 
on Friday.

Fahim, the only son of Md Abdur Rahim of Forest Tila area under Purba 
Puichhari Ward-4, was crossing the road after getting off a CNG-run auto-
rickshaw with his uncle to visit his grandmother's house when the accident 
occurred.

Police said a speeding covered van coming from the north ran over the child, 
killing him on the spot.

Banshkhali police later seized the vehicle and took it to the police station.
