Kathin Chibar Dana held at Rajguru Moha Boudha Vihara in Bandarban

BANDARBAN, Nov 03, 2025 (BSS) - The Kathin Chibar Dana, one of the most sacred religious festivals of the Buddhist community, was held today at the Rajguru Moha Boudha Vihara in Uzanipara of the district.

From early morning, devotees gathered at the temple and took part in prayers including Buddha Puja, Sanghadana, Moha Sanghadana and Astopariskar Dana.

Earlier, a colorful rally was brought out from the temple which paraded different streets of the town. And it was ended at the temple.

In the afternoon, the Robe Offering Ceremony (Kathin Chibar Dana) was held.

Special prayers were also offered at the monastery seeking peace and prosperity for the nation as well as global harmony.
