Professor Mahfuzur Rahman urged all to unite in a peaceful movement to restore democracy and establish a justice-based society in the country.
The city Ameer further said, "There will be no more leniency toward the Awami League."

He called upon people to resist acts of violence and sabotage, saying that anyone attempting to destroy public or state property should be caught and handed over to the authorities through public resistance.
