RAB arrests 3 over killing of businessman Akash in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 15, 2025 (BSS) - Members of RAB-7 arrested three fugitives accused in the murder case of businessman Akash Gosh from different areas of Chattogram city and the district.

The detainees are Md Sunny, 24, Md Yousuf, 35, both sons of Md Alam from Enayet Bazar and Shakil Alam Foysal, 26, son of Nur Alam from Nandankanon under Kotwali thana. 

According to RAB officials, mobile phone shop owner Akash Gosh was stabbed to death on Thursday night in the city's Kasaipara area following a dispute over unpaid dues for mobile spare parts sold to Sunny, the prime accused in the case.

Acting on secret information, a RAB-7 team arrested Sunny from Chandanaish upazila on Friday night. Based on his confession, the force later detained Yousuf and Shakil from Coitonnya Goli under Kotwali thana early Saturday.

The RAB said the three accused have been handed over to police for further legal action.
