Indian goods seized in Satkhira borders

SATKHIRA, Nov 16, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized Indian sarees, three-piece and other goods from Satkhira border in different anti-smuggling drives. 

The goods were seized from different border areas under Padmashakhra, Bhomra, Ghona, Baikari, Toluigacha, Kakdanga and Madra BOPs of Sadar and Kalaroa upazilas on Sunday. 

The total market value of the seized goods is Taka 7.25 lakh. 

Satkhira BGB-33 Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Md. Ashraful Haque confirmed the matter and said that the seized Indian goods have been deposited to Satkhira Customs.
