New Mayer Doa Bakery fined for food adulteration in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 16, 2025 (BSS) - A Mobile court of Chattogram City 
Corporation (CCC) fined New Mayer Doa Bakery for multiple irregularities, 
including producing bakery products in an unhygienic environment in the 
city's Kalamia Bazar area. 
 
CCC Executive Magistrate Chaiti Sarvabidya led an anti-adulteration drive 
with BSTI and police personnel, imposing financial penalties on the bakery 
owners.
 
During the drive, New Mayer Doa Bakery was fined Taka 48,000 for producing 
bakery products in an unhygienic and dirty environment. They were caught 
using unauthorized colours, flavors, and chemicals, violating hygiene 
standards, and operating with an outdated trade license.
