Next election will be challenging: Minu

RAJSHAHI, Nov 16, 2025 (BASS) - BNP Chairperson's adviser and former mayor of 
Rajshahi City Corporation Mizanur Rahman Minu today said the upcoming 
national parliamentary election will be extremely challenging. 

He made these remarks at a discussion at a restaurant in Ranibazar here.

Minu, BNP nominee for Rajshahi-2 for the next election, said BNP is a clean 
and democratic party and on the question of the party symbol "Sheaf of 
Paddy," everyone remains united. 

There is competition within the party but no resentment, he added. 

Rajshahi City unit of BNP organized the programme with its president Mamun-
ur-Rashid Mamun in the chair. Rajshahi City unit General Secretary Mahfuzur 
Rahman Riton moderated the programme.

BNP's Forest and Environment Secretary and former mayor Mohammad Mosaddeq 
Hossain Bulbul, senior vice-president of Rajshahi City BNP Nazrul Huda, vice-
presidents Aslam Sarkar, Waliul Haque Rana, Shafiqul Islam Shafik, Zainul 
Abedin Shibly and Advocate Ali Ashraf Masum, Organizing Secretary Robiul Alam 
Milu; and Joint General Secretary Bazlul Haque Montu also spoke.
