RANGPUR, Nov 16, 2025 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in two separate raids seized 31.4 kg of ganja and 94 bottles of ESKuf and arrested two alleged drug peddlers from different places in Lalmonirhat district in the last 24 hours.
On a tip-off, a team of RAB-13 in a raid seized 15.6 kg of ganja and 94 bottles of illegal narcotics and arrested one person from Uttar Singhimari village under Hatibandha police station in Lalmonirhat at 7:30 pm on Saturday, a press release said this evening.
The arrestee is Md Abdur Rahman alias Bhola, 40, son of Md Nesar Uddin of village Singhimari under Hatibandha police station of Lalmonirhat district.
In another raid, an operational team of RAB-13 seized 15.8 kg of ganja and arrested one person from Khalaighat village under Sadar police station of Lalmonirhat district at 7:15 am on Sunday.
The detainee is Md Nabiar Rahman, 66, son of Abu Taher of village Saranjami Khalaighat under Sadar police station of Lalmonirhat district.
After filing two separate cases in these incidents, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and seized evidence to concerned police stations today for further action, the release added.
