KHULNA, Nov 19, 2025 (BSS)- Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Commissioner Md Zulfikar Ali Haiderhas has urged the newly recruited constables  to perform their duties with utmost honesty and discipline. 

He said this while addressing the orientation course for 59th batch of the trainee constables at Boyra Police Lines in the city today.


The KMP commissioner urged the new police constables to be public-friendly to establish rule of law.

A total of 50 police constables have recently joined KMP.

The Commissioner called upon the constables to be always kind to innocent, vulnerable and distressed people.

He asked them to maintain professionalism and tolerance saying use of smart phones on duty would not be allowed.

“Police are rewarded for good work, but also has provisions of departmental action for misconduct,” he noted.

KMP’s Deputy Commissioner M.M. Shakiluzzaman, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shamima Akter Sumi and other senior officers were present.
