Administrator urges officials, employees to perform responsibilities with honesty

KHULNA, Nov 19, 2025 (BSS) - Khulna City Corporation (KCC) administrator Md Mokhter Ahmed here today called upon all officials and employees to perform their responsibilities with honesty and dedication, ensuring that the internal privacy of the institution remains protected.

Mokhter, also the new Divisional Commissioner of Khulna, made the remarks in a view-exchange meeting with the officials and employees of KCC at the Shaheed Altaf Auditorium of the KCC building.

Earlier, the administrator met with officials and employees of the KCC and heads of all departments and sections, along with teachers from educational institutions operated by the KCC.

During the meeting, department and section heads briefed the administrator on activities related to revenue collection, primary healthcare services, waste management, and the current situation of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and chikungunya in Khulna city. 

They also highlighted the challenges faced in carrying out their respective responsibilities.

The administrator said that there are no obstacles to implementing lawful duties and assured that necessary steps would be taken to remove existing barriers. 

He described the city corporation as a service-oriented and powerful institution, stressing the need for collective effort in delivering quality services to city dwellers.
KCC Acting Chief Executive Officer Sharif Asif Rahman, Chief Engineer Mashiuzzaman Khan, Chief Revenue Officer Rahima Sultana Bushra, Chief Waste Management Officer and Executive Magistrate Kohinur Jahan, Chief Planning Officer Abir Ul Jabbir, Chief Health Officer Dr. Sharif Shammimul, among others, spoke on the occasion.
