NARSINGDI, Nov 19, 2025 (BSS) - Leaders and activists of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) in Palash upazila and Ghorashal town today carried out a mass outreach campaign in support of BNP Standing Committee Member and former minister Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan, the party's nominated candidate for the Narsingdi-2 (Palash) constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.

The campaign began around 4:30 pm as a procession started from the Palash Bus Stand under the joint initiative of the Palash Upazila Chhatra Dal and the Ghorashal City Chhatra Dal.

The rally was led by Palash Upazila Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Papon and Ghorashal City Chhatra Dal Convener Amaanullah Amaan.

Activists later distributed leaflets in different local markets, seeking votes for the BNP's election symbol, the 'Sheaf of Paddy'.

After parading several main roads of the upazila, the procession ended in front of the Palash Upazila Health Complex.

Addressing a brief roadside rally, Chhatra Dal leaders said there is growing enthusiasm among voters ahead of the national election, adding that people are eagerly waiting to exercise their franchise.

They said if voters elect Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan by casting ballots for the 'Sheaf of Paddy', he will not betray their trust.

Speakers also claimed that as a competent and well-educated leader, Dr. Moyeen Khan is capable of ensuring comprehensive development in the Narsingdi-2 (Palash) constituency and transforming Palash upazila into a well-developed and vibrant region.

Leaders, including presidents and general secretaries of various units of the Palash Upazila Chhatra Dal, joined the campaign.
