Two youths killed in Chuadanga bike accident

CHUADANGA, Nov 24, 2025 (BSS) –Two youths were killed when their motorcycle lost control and crashed into a tree at Kadipur village under Damurhuda upazila of the district today.

The accident occurred around 2 pm in front of Kadipur Government Primary School when the motorcycle hit a roadside tree at high speed.

The deceased were identified as Selim, 20, son of Enamul of Loknathpur Paschimpara and Tanjil, 21, son of Tarif of the same area.

Locals said the two were returning home to Loknathpur from Subolpur village by the motorcycle. 

As the motorcyclist and his companion  approached the school area, the rider lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into the tree. Selim died on the spot, they said.

Upon receiving information, a team from the Fire Service rescued Tanjil and took him to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later.

Officer-in-Charge Humayun Kabir of Damurhuda Model Police Station said police rushed to the spot shortly after the accident. 
The bodies were sent to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.
