TANGAIL, Nov 28, 2025 (BSS) - The Nagarpur Upazila Public Library here has been redesigned and renovated with new interior decoration and beautification work to make it more reader-friendly. 

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Arafat Mohammad Noman inaugurated the newly- refurbished library on Thursday afternoon by cutting a ribbon.

"At the heart of our efforts was the goal of establishing a modern and reader-friendly library. This facility will play a vital role in nurturing knowledge, learning, and mental development among the younger generation. The new look of the library will attract more students and open fresh avenues for knowledge building in Nagarpur," UNO Noman said at the event.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Deep Bhowmik, Secondary Education Officer Nadir Ahmed, Primary Education Officer Ashok Kumar, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Engineer Md Shafiur Rahman Joarder, LGED Upazila Engineer Torap Ali, Administrator of Sadar Union Parishad Md Habibur Rahman, Upazila Fisheries Officer Masum Billah, Upazila BNP organizing secretary Rafiz Uddin, and president of Nagarpur Bazar Traders Association Md Akhtaruzzaman Bokul were present, among others.

Local dignitaries, teachers, and students from various educational institutions also attended the event.
