KHULNA, Dec 1, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested three persons with 92 bottles of 
banned liquid syrup ESKuF and 10 kilograms of cannabis from Fultala upazila 
in Khulna.
 
The arrested are Md. Robiul Islam alias Rubel, 40, Mohammad Naim alias Bhulu, 
50, and Runa Begum, 45.

On a tip-off, a team of the police arrested Rubel with 92 bottles of the 
contraband syrup ESKuF during a check post operation at Damodar area under 
Fultala upazila around 5:30 am, according to a press release issued by the 
district police.

Later, following rubel's confessional statement, a special drive was 
conducted at Basupara Orphanage intersection under Sonadanga Model Police 
Station of the KMP and arrested Bhulu and Runa around 7.45 am with 10 
kilograms of cannabis. 

During preliminary interrogation, the detainees admitted to being 
professional drug dealers who collected narcotics from various sources and 
stored them for sale.

A case was filed under the Narcotics Control Act 2018 with Fultala Police 
Station.
