RANGPUR, Dec 3, 2025 (BSS) - Rangpur Union of Journalists (RpUJ) organized a doa mehfil at the Rangpur Press Club auditorium on Tuesday evening, seeking the speedy recovery of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

The programme, presided over by RpUJ Senior Vice-President Chonchol Mahmud, was moderated by its General Secretary Sarkar Mazharul Mannan.

Md Ramzan Ali and Md Abu Hossain, elder brothers of martyr Abu Sayeed, along with RpUJ Joint General Secretary Rezaul Karim Manik, Organizing Secretary Badshah Osmani, Treasurer Mominul Islam Ripon, City Press Club General Secretary Humayun Kabir Manik, Rangpur Reporters Club Senior Vice-President Shafiul Karim Shafiq and Organizing Secretary Fakhrul Shahin, among others, spoke on the occasion.

Leaders of various journalists' bodies, including Rangpur Press Club, Reporters Club, City Press Club, Online Reporters Association, Photojournalists' Association and Television Camera Journalists' Association, took part in the event.
