9 held with huge drugs in three northern districts

RANGPUR, Dec 3, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in five separate drives seized huge drugs and arrested nine alleged drug dealers from different places of Nilphamari, Rangpur and Dinajpur districts in the last 24 hours ending at 6 pm Tuesday.
 
The seized contraband drugs included 133 grams of heroin, 2.80 kg of ganja, 99 bottles of Fairdyl, 99 bottles of phensedyl-like drugs Emkedyl, 18 bottles of Eskuf and 925 pieces of Yaba tablets, a press release said.
 
The arrestees were identified as Md Riazul, 35, and Fazlur Rahman, 27, of Rajshahi, Sirajul Islam, 26, Afsar Ali, 45, and Rezaul Karim, 43, of Dinajpur, Rubel Hossain, 28, Md Aizul, 40, and Zakirul Islam, 21, of Nilphamari and Badal Chandra Sheel, 43, of Brahamanbaria districts.

After filing five separate cases in these incidents, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and seized drugs to the concerned police stations of Nilphamari, Rangpur and Dinajpur districts for further legal action.
