RAJSHAHI, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) – Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) conducted operations in the district last night recovering cocktails and a cache of lethal weapons.

Acting on a tip-off, a RAB team raided the Kasiadanga area and recovered 24 cocktails.

On the same night, another operation was carried out in Baneshwar Pollapukur Mor under Puthia Police Station, where the team seized a large number of weapons.

These included four machetes, five sickles, five knives, 18 axe-like tangis, and two handled hammers.

The recovered items were later handed over to the respective police stations for legal action.
