RANGPUR, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) - Simanto Bank PLC distributed winter clothing 
among more than 300 needy and underprivileged people at a programme held at 
its Rangpur branch office on Tuesday.

Simanto Bank PLC Rangpur Branch Manager Md Nur A Elahi presided over the 
programme. 

At the event, Principal Officer of Simanto Bank PLC Rangpur Branch ANM 
Saifullah, Senior Officer Md Nur E Alam Siddique, Senior Officer Sohel Rana, 
and Officer Md Aminul Islam, among others, were present.

 Addressing the programme, Rangpur Branch Manager Md Nur A Elahi said the 
blankets were distributed to ease the suffering of underprivileged people 
affected by the cold in Rangpur.

Meanwhile, these helpless, destitute, orphans, daily wage laborers, laborers, 
drivers, night watchmen, vagrants and street children, from different areas 
of Rangpur city expressed their satisfaction on receiving the new blankets.
