Fahima to lead Bangladesh A in Rising Star Asia Cup

DHAKA, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS)-The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today announced 
the 15-member Women's A team for the ACC Women's Rising Star Asia Cup 2026, 
scheduled to kick start on February 13 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Fahima Khatun is named the captain of the team. The Bangladesh Women's A Team 
will leave the country tomorrow (Wednesday) for the tournament.

Bangladesh are drawn in Group B for the regional event along with Sri Lanka, 
hosts Thailand and Malaysia. India, Pakistan, UAE and Nepal are pitted in 
Group A.

Bangladesh will kick off the tournament by taking on Sri Lanka A Women's team 
on February 14. They thereafter will play against Thailand and Malaysia on 
February 16 and 18 respectively.

Two teams from each group will move to the semifinal and both semifinals will 
be held on February 20. The final is on February.

Jhilik, Jannatul Ferdous Sumona, Shorifa Khatun, Sarmin Sultana, Fariha Islam 
Trisna, Sadia Akter, Farjana Easmin, Shanjida Akhter Meghla, Taj Nehar, Lata 
Mondol, Sumaiya Akter, Fatema Jahan.
