DHAKA, Feb 10, 2026 (BSS) - Rajshahi Stars Football Club are one step away to become champions in the Women’s Football League when they thrashed Suddopuskorini Jubo Sporting Club by 8-0 goals in their penultimate round match held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur today (Tuesday).

With this win, Rajshahi Stars Football Club reached top position in the league table with 27 point from nine matches and they will need just one point in their last match against Bangladesh Army Sports Club to become champions in the league.  

On the other hand, Suddopuskorini Jubo Sporting Club remained with their previous collection of 15 points playing the same number of outings.    

Ritu Porna Chakma of Rajshahi Stars was named the player of the match for her impressive performance in the match.  

Earlier, in the first match of the day, Mosammat Sultana’s triple hat-tricks made Bangladesh Army Sports Club register a massive 18-0 goals victory over Nasrin Sports Academy also held at the same venue.
