NATORE, Feb 26, 2026 (BSS)- A court here today sentenced two persons to life imprisonment for homicide.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Delwar Hossain delivered the verdict in Abdul Kahar Atik murder case.
Atik, son of Abdur Rashid of Singra thana was killed on December 24, 2014 and his body was recovered from the bank of a pond near his residence.
Public Prosecutor Ruhul Amin Talukdar Togar said the convicts are Masud Rana, 37, son of late Abdul Majid Mondol of Borogram Dakhinpara under Singra upazila and Mizanur Rahman Mintu,35, son of late Fazlar Rahman of the same area.
The court also fined the two convicts Taka 10 lakh each and in default to suffer more three years in prison.
Victim’s father Abdur Rashid filed the case with Singra Police Station.
