MANIKGANJ, Mar. 5,2026 (BSS) - The preparatory meeting held for celebrating the holy Eid- Ul Fitr with due solemnity and religious ferver today at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner under the auspices of Manikganj District Administration.

The meeting chaired by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Nazmun Ara Sultana was attended by the Imams of mosques, religion personalities and government officials.

The meeting decided that the main Eid Jamat of the district will be held at the Shahid Miraj- Tapon Stadium at 8.00 am

The Eid Jamat will be conducted by Mufti Rafiqul Islam, Imam and Khatib of Manikganj Collectorate Jame Mosjid. Manikganj Pourasava will decorate the Eid Jamat with festivity.

The meeting was addressed among others by Additional SP Abdullah Al Mamun, Deputy Director Islamic Foundation Md. Sakhawat Hossain, former District Education Officer Md. Abdul Monnaf Khan, Deputy Director Social Services Abdul Baten and Scout leader Sarkar Md.Masud.
