GOPALGANJ, March 7, 2026 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road accident at 
Kangshur on the Gopalganj-Tekerhat road in Sadar upazila here on Saturday 
morning.

The deceased was Biplob Biswas, 30, son of Badar Ali of Shuktail village in 
Sadar upazila.

The accident took place around 10 am when a locally made vehicle (Nachiman) 
fell into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control of the steering.

Its driver Biplob died on the spot, said Sub-Inspector (SI) of Baultoli 
Police Outpost under Gopalganj Sadar Police Station.

The body of the deceased has been sent to the Gopalganj General Hospital 
morgue, he added.
