Prayer, iftar mahfil seeking eternal peace of Khaleda Zia in Jhenaidah

JHENAIDAH, Mar 11, 2026 (BSS)- A prayer and iftar mahfil was held here today seeking eternal peace for former BNP Chairperson and three-time Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

Special prayers were also offered for the good health and long life of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. 

The mahfil was organized by the district unit of BNP at town’s Kalabagan area with President Advocate MA Majid in the chair.

District BNP vice presidents Munshi Kamal Azad Pannu and Advocate SM Mashiur Rahman, senior joint general secretary Abdul Majid Biswas, BNP leader Rashed Khan, general secretary of Mahespur upazila BNP Mehedi Hasan Roni, District BNP joint secretary M Shahjahan, organizing secretary Sajedur Rahman Poppu, Municipal BNP president Advocate Shamsuzzaman Lucky and general secretary Mahbubur Rahman Shekhar were present among others.
