One killed in collision of two motorcycles in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, March 23, 2026 (BSS): A Qatar expatriate named Md. Solaiman (35) was killed in a motorcycle collision in the city. 
 
Solaiman, the son of Moniruzzaman from Abdullah Bari in Paschim Barumchhara area of Anwara upazila, had been in that country for about 18 years and was on vacation for two months.
 
The incident was confirmed by Baklia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Solaiman, who stated that the accident occurred around 10:30 pm on Sunday near the New Fisherighat Bridge. 
 
Solaiman was returning home on a motorcycle when he collided head-on with another motorcycle in the same area.
 
Suffering serious injuries, Solaiman was rescued by locals and rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The OC mentioned that necessary legal procedures are being initiated in this regard.
