Man killed in Narail road accident

NARAIL, March 29, 2026 (BSS) – One man was killed and another injured in a road accident near Tularampur Rail Bridge on the Narail–Jashore road in Sadar upazila here early this morning.

The deceased was identified as Nahid Sardar, 33, manager of Tanvir Filling Station and a resident of Perli village under Tularampur union of the upazila. 

The accident took place around 2 am when Nahid Sardar and Jihad Molya were returning home on a motorcycle after finishing work at the filling station. When they reached in the area, a truck approaching from behind hit the motorcycle, crushing it.

Nahid Sardar died on the spot and critically injured Jihad Molya was first taken to a local hospital and later transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge of Tularampur Highway Police Sekender Ali confirmed the matter and said police have launched an investigation into the incident and are making efforts to identify and arrest the driver involved.
