Manju for integrating homeopathic treatment with modern healthcare

KHULNA, Apr 26, 2026 (BSS) – Administrator of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Nazrul Islam Manju on Saturday afternoon has said a large section of the country’s people are associated with homeopathic treatment and more people would benefit if it is integrated with the modern healthcare system.

He said this while addressing a discussion and scientific seminar as the chief guest held at the BMA Bhaban in the city organised by Hahnemann Sangha.

The programme was arranged marking the 271st birth anniversary of Samuel Hahnemann and the 12th founding anniversary of the organisation. 

The KCC administrator also cut a cake on the occasion.

Manju said the demand for incorporating homeopathic treatment alongside conventional services at city health centres would be examined.

Describing Hahnemann as one of the pioneers of medical science, he said the great physician is widely respected across the world as a humanitarian. 

Chaired by DrTarak Chandra Roy, the function was addressed, among others, by Principal of Khulna Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital Dr N M Shamimul Islam as inaugurator and Lecturer of Savar Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital Dr Md AshrafulHaque as the main discussant.
