JASHORE, April 30, 2026 (BSS) - Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man along with a revolver and a knife from the Bahadurpur area under Kotwali Model Police Station here.

An operational team of RAB-6, CPC-3, Jashore Company conducted a special drive around 9:30 pm on Tuesday based on confidential information, said a press release issued today.

During the drive, they apprehended Md Shahin, 29, son of Kamruzzaman, a resident of the Bahadurpur area of the district.

A revolver and a knife were recovered from his possession.

The arrested person, along with the seized arms, was handed over to Jashore Kotwali Model Police Station. A case has been filed against him under the Arms Act.
