MANIKGANJ, May, 7, 2026 (BSS) - All the ferry services between Paturia -Daulatdia suspended for nor'wester, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ghat sources said. 

BIWTC Paturia Ghat Deputy General Manager Abdus Salam said the authorities suspended ferry movement to ensure the safety of passengers and vehicles as adverse weather continued to lash the river route.

The ferry movement between Aricha -Kazirhat route also remaining suspended for nor'wester.  

Ferry services would resume once the weather improves, Abdus Salam added.
