RAJSHAHI, June 26, 2026 (BSS)- At the invitation of the Upashahar New Market Mosque Committee and Market Committee, Administrator of Rajshahi City 
Corporation (RCC) Mahfuzur Rahman Riton inspected the roads and drainage systems in the Upashahar New Market area.
 
During the inspection this afternoon, leaders of the mosque and market committees highlighted various problems with the area's road and drainage 
system.
 
In response to their demands, the RCC Administrator assured that development work on the drains and roads would be implemented.
 
He immediately instructed the concerned engineers to take necessary measures regarding the matter.
 
In a brief speech after the inspection, Riton said RCC is always working to alleviate citizens' suffering and ensure improved civic services.

The concerns raised would be considered with importance and necessary steps would be taken, he assured.
 
On this occasion, the Upashahar New Market Jame Mosque Committee presented a commemorative memento to the RCC Administrator.
 
Upashahar New Market Committee President Md. Zakir, Secretary Mohammad Manju, Upashahar New Market Jame Mosque Committee President Emdadul Haque Rokon, its General Secretary KAM Anarul Hasan Babu along with local dignitaries and worshippers were present, among others.
