SIRAJGANJ, July 09, 2026 (BSS)- A mother and her son were killed and three other injured in a fatal road accident in Hatikumrul area on the Dhaka-Bogura highway in Ullapara upazila of the district this afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be identified till filling this report.

Quoting locals, Hatikumrul Highway Thana Officer-in-Charge Ismail Hossain said the accident occurred when a Dhaka-bound passenger bus hit a locally-made auto-rickshaw in the area, leaving a mother and her son killed on the spot.

Locals rescued the injured and sent them to local hospital.
