BGB provides free medical services to 552 flood victims in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, July 15, 2026 (BSS)- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has continued humanitarian assistance among flood affected people.

About 552 people were given free medical treatment and medicines in the district by Jamalpur Battalion (35 BGB) at Bakshiganj upazila, according to a BGB press release.

Mymensingh Sector commander of BGB Colonel Sarker Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman inaugurated the medical camp.

Jamalpur Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Hasanur Rahman, Deputy Commander Major Mohammad Mushfiqur, Assistant Director Mohammad Imam Hossain, local public representatives, distinguished citizens, journalists and a large number of residents were present.
