Biman employees observe Independence Day with due respect

DHAKA, March 26, 2026 (BSS) - Biman Bangladesh Airlines today observed the Independence and National Day with due dignity and deep respect, paying tribute to the martyrs and freedom fighters of the War of Liberation.

On the occasion, senior officials and employees of all levels of Biman paid homage by placing wreaths at the Shaheed Memorial located at the Balaka premises, said airlines press release here. 

The day’s programme included hoisting of the national flag and Biman’s flag alongside the national anthem, recitation from the Holy Quran and a special prayer. 

Director (Administration and Human Resources) of Biman delivered a brief speech marking the occasion, while representatives from various unions and associations also participated in the programme.

Paying tribute to the nation’s greatest achievement, the Biman family reaffirmed its commitment to serving the country with patriotism, responsibility and professionalism.
