State minister Aminul mourns deadly bus accident at Daulatdia Ghat

DHAKA, March 26, 2026 (BSS)-State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul Haque has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the loss of lives in a tragic bus accident at Daulatdia Ghat in Goalanda upazila of Rajbari.

In a condolence message issued today, the state minister described the incident as deeply heartbreaking. 

“The passenger bus of Souharda Paribahan, en route to Dhaka from Kumarkhali in Kushtia plunged into the Padma River after losing control at the ferry pontoon, resulting in multiple casualties,” according to a PID handout.

He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and sought divine forgiveness for those who lost their lives in the accident. 

He also prayed that Almighty Allah grant strength to the grieving families to bear the pain of losing their loved ones. 

Wishing speedy recovery to those injured in the incident, he expressed hope for their swift return to good health.
