LONDON, Feb 23, 2025 (BSS/TASS) - The UK plans to impose new sanctions against Russia on February 24, Foreign Secretary David Lammy said, ITV television reported.

According to the official, they will be the largest package of sanctions since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine. February 24 marks the third anniversary of Russia's special military operation.

The Daily Telegraph reported on February 22, citing a UK government source, that London was preparing to announce fresh curbs on Russia.
