SANTO DOMINGO, April 9, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - At least 98 people died in the collapse of a nightclub roof in the Dominican Republic, the head of rescue operations said early Wednesday.

"The preliminary death toll has risen to 98," said the director of the Emergency Operations Center, Juan Manuel Mendez.
