ROME, April 26, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - US President Donald Trump left Rome on
Saturday after attending the funeral of Pope Francis, where he earlier held a
brief meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, an AFP reporter
said.

Their face-to-face meeting in St Peter's Basilica was their first encounter
since a disastrous White House clash, as the US president pushes the
Ukrainian leader to agree a peace deal with Russia.
