DHAKA, July 31, 2025 (BSS) – The Election Commission (EC) Secretariat has transferred its 52 more officers as part of its administrative reshuffle ahead of the upcoming 13th national polls.

EC Secretariat Assistant Secretary Mohammad Shahidur Rahman today issued the notification as per the order of the President. 

The transferred officers will be released from their incumbent position by August 6; otherwise they will be considered as immediately released on August 7 next.

Among the 52 officers, Election Officer Md Selim Reza has been transferred from District Election Office Khulna to Magura District Election Office, Election Officer (acting duty) Nizam Uddin Ahmed has been transferred from Madaripur Election Office to Rajbari EC Office. 

Besides, most of the transferred officers are Upazila or Thana Election Officers.

Earlier, on July 27, the EC issued orders transferring 71 officers. Earlier on July 15, another order was also issued transferring 51 EC officers.
